As a budget traveler, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of the accommodation. The rooms were spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated in a charming "French Chateau" style. The peaceful rural location offered a tranquil retreat, while still being conveniently close to restaurants and amenities. Breakfast was a highlight, with delicious food expertly prepared and presented. The hostess was delightful and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.

We got excellent value for our money at Mill House Cottage. The room was top-notch with a super comfy bed, a beautiful bathroom, and elegant decor. The location was perfect for exploring Northumbria, and Karen, the host, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help us plan our activities.
The breakfast could have been even better with a little more variety in the menu.

The location of this B&B is absolutely perfect, nestled in the woods with a river passing by, it feels secluded and peaceful. the rooms are stunningly decorated with a unique blend of old and modern, creating a cozy and luxurious atmosphere. the bathrooms are immaculate and have luxurious features like underfloor heating and walk-in rainforest showers. the shared lounge area is a great place to relax with homemade cake and coffee. the breakfast is delicious with plenty of fresh fruit, cereals, and a cooked breakfast to die for. the host, Karen, is warm, kind, and goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay.
The shared lounge area might be a bit small for larger groups or when the B&B is fully booked.

our stay at mill house guest house in morpeth was absolutely perfect. karen, the host, was incredibly helpful and recommended some amazing places to eat. the cottage was equipped with everything we needed, from a kitchen area to a fantastic shower. the beautiful garden was an added bonus. overall, our stay exceeded all expectations.
Shower pressure was low.

Excellent facilities, including an extremely comfortable bed, excellent bathroom, and a relaxing sitting room. Fantastic breakfast with a great range of choices. the host is extremely knowledgeable about the area and can provide recommendations beyond what a satnav can offer.

I had such a delightful stay at the charming Mill House Guest House. From the moment I arrived, Karen, the hostess, made me feel incredibly welcome. The warm cup of tea and homemade cake upon arrival were a lovely touch. The interior design of the house is truly stunning, with beautiful and elegant decorations throughout. The location of the guest house was perfect for exploring the Northumberland coast and its attractions. Karen was always ready with recommendations for places to visit and eat, making sure that I had a memorable experience. The breakfast she prepared was absolutely amazing, made with fresh ingredients from local suppliers. I can't wait to return to Mill House and catch up with Karen, the super hostess. I highly recommend this charming and beautiful guest house.

The attention to detail and exquisite style of the accommodation at Mill House B&B was outstanding. Karen, the host, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. the breakfast served was excellent and had a wide variety of choices. Karen also provided helpful recommendations and even made restaurant reservations on our behalf. We were thoroughly impressed and plan on returning.
We felt completely relaxed and had no complaints at all.
